Brainwave AI helps ecommerce merchants chat with their sales data, just like ChatGPT, but it's trained on accurate sales analytics to provide smarter insights and better decisions.
Challenge
Building Brainwave AI came with its fair share of challenges (and a few head-scratching moments). Our first hurdle was making sure the app was super easy to set up. Shopify merchants are busy people, and they shouldn’t need to spend hours trying to figure out how to get it working. We had to automate data ingestion and model training, but here’s the kicker: every ecommerce store is different. We needed a smart way to handle all those variations while still keeping things fast and simple.
Then came the second challenge—accuracy. We knew merchants needed reliable data to make important sales decisions. But standard LLMs can sometimes, well... hallucinate (make stuff up). That wasn’t going to fly for sales analytics, so we had to come up with a better solution that could deliver responses merchants could actually trust.
And of course, there was the challenge of affordability. We wanted to build something amazing, but it also had to be accessible to small and medium-sized businesses, not just big enterprises with deep pockets. This balancing act was tricky!
Solution
We knew we had to think outside the box (or even there is no box 😉) to solve these challenges, so we dove into the world of Swarm Intelligence (fancy, right?).
Instead of just relying on a single LLM, we designed a system where multiple models work together—some generate the response, while others evaluate it for accuracy. It’s like having a whole team of AI working behind the scenes, checking each other’s work!
Now, that could’ve slowed things down, which wasn’t ideal. But thanks to our brilliant Data Scientist (they deserve a big shout-out), we were able to reduce the latency and keep the app running smoothly. This gave us the best of both worlds: reliable responses without sacrificing speed.

Brainwave AI, a game-changing Shopify app that transforms the way merchants handle sales analytics. It’s fully functional, highly scalable, and packed with features that help merchants get the insights they need without any hassle.
